Whilst sat there we noticed that there were seagull in the pool which we thought strange because we had never seen this anywhere else we had been on holiday. We arrived early and as expected rooms weren't ready and we were told we could only check in at 15:30 and directed to the pool bar where the bar staff were very friendly and attentive. We stayed her for 10 nights 24th September - 05th October. We went and spoke to reception to get this. The toilet still had urine in it and on it. Upon arriving in our room the toilet hadn't been cleaned yet the staff had put the seal across the door to say it had been. I understand that they hold functions but hotel guests are also paying guests and shouldn't be shunted around and we would soon learn this sort of thing was going to become a regular situation in the evening (I will expand further down on this).
We later discovered that this was due to the fact the hotel were holding a wedding until 4am and would be using a large portion of the restaurant and staff for this.
At half three we went up to check in which was nice and easy and we were told we would have to come down for dinner early but the following evenings would be the later sitting which some members of our group were disgruntled about.
